Terminal Deployment

Sunmi EFTPOS terminals are provisioned, configured, and shipped to merchant locations with pre-loaded firmware and application software.

02

KIF/RKI Key Loading

Cryptographic keys are injected via Key Injection Facility (KIF) or Remote Key Injection (RKI) to secure all terminal communications.

03

KYC Verification

Merchant identity and business verification is completed with dual-auth controls ensuring regulatory compliance across all APAC jurisdictions.

04

Merchant Activation

Terminal is activated on the Proximo Switch, merchant account configured, and live transaction processing enabled.

Authorization

Real-Time Transaction Processing

Every card transaction flows through the Proximo Switch for real-time authorization, scheme routing, and merchant inquiry — with full reconciliation data.

Card Capture

Cardholder presents card via tap, dip, or swipe. Terminal captures card data and initiates ISO 8583 authorization request.

2

Switch Routing

Proximo Switch receives the authorization request and routes to the appropriate card scheme (Visa, Mastercard, eftpos).

3

Scheme Processing

Card scheme validates the transaction and forwards to the issuing bank for approval or decline decision.

4

Response & Receipt

Authorization response returned to terminal in real-time. Approved transactions generate receipt and update merchant records.
